SHUTKA AND THE ROMANI CULTURE
Shutka is a neighborhood/suburb on the edge Skopje, the capital of Macedonia and is predominantly populated by Roma people.
It started as a settlement for the Roma people after the '63 earthquake but soon the population of Skopje grew and it became a part of the wider city. Some estimates place the population at around 25.000 people.
